[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Sees Jake Ejercito in Person for the First Time

So Jake Ejercito tweeted and added a photo on his IG -- he later on deleted it -- that he would be attending a premiere night at the SM Manila Cinema 6. Wow! Something in my mind clicked.. I had to make a decision whether to go and risk a chance of seeing Jake in person or not. Well, SM Manila isn't that far away from me. It's just a few minutes ride. So I adjusted my schedule to fit it in. >.<

It was, admittedly, my first time to even attempt to wait and see what a premiere night looks like. I'm not really fond of huge crowds, but I really wanted to see... and meet... Jake Ejercito in person. I even brought the JaMaine Universe OFC tarp. >.<
As it turned out, security was pretty tight, esp. where Jake and his sister are concerned. I certainly didn't want to breach security just to catch his attention. Perhaps there will be a better time to meet him and have the tarp signed. >.< #dreamcometrue

Jake, Jake, Jake! How I wish I met you up close or even got a chance to take a selfie with you last night. Oh well, it's not the right time I suppose. Hopefully, you can surprise us when we finally get to set a get-together. He He He! >.<

[JaMaine_UnivOFC] Supports Eat Bulaga's "Isang Lapis, Isang Papel" Project

On behalf of Team JaMaine Universe OFC, thank you Eat Bulaga, for the acknowledgment of our contribution to your "Isang Lapis, Isang Papel" Project. More than just being a fan group, we'd also like to make a difference in others' lives. We're not here to be well-known.. that's for our favorites, Jake Ejercito and Maine Mendoza, as they are the celebrities. We're here to help in whatever way we can, because WE CAN. >.<

Wow, the final output looks so nice. But a lot of work went into the purchasing of  the supplies, the preparation and packing... all the way to the delivery of the boxes to Broadway Centrum. Yup, it was no easy task. Yet it was done because we believe in the project and we made it happen. >.<

I took the above photos while I was there to deliver the goods to EB Studio at Broadway Centrum.

If you think life is easy, think again. I bought all the supplies separately from a wholesale store. Buying in bulk is a good way to ensure you get items cheaper. Prior to the purchase, I did a canvas of places where to buy. I found one a few blocks away from home. Good thing too, as they have a delivery guy who helped me bring the stuff to my place. >.<

Getting right down to business once the supplies have been brought home. I set up an area where I could work without being interrupted. Did a few samples first to send to our Council of Elders for approval then went right down to packing all the supplies one by one. Yup, all the packing was manually done... with love and blessings added to each pack. >.< JaMaine Universe OFC stickers were pre-printed and cut a few days prior to this packing day so they were ready to be added to each packed set.

I had to purchase boxes for our packed sets -- all 100 of them. Two boxes in total -- 50 packed sets went into each box. I loved it that the boxes looked so nice. For me, it spelled good vibes. He he he...

Labels were attached inside and outside the boxes. We want to make sure that they really look nice and presentable, as they are gifts for children in need. >.< It was a tiring yet fulfilling experience, as it was also my first time to do such a deed. I hope it won't be the last worthy cause that Team JaMaine Universe OFC will be supporting. Till next project!

WOW! That was my initial reaction upon seeing these photos on my Twitter timeline... Jake Ejercito on the cover of the June 2016 Garage magazine issue! AMAZING! >.<

I dunno what it is with Jake that somehow makes him come on as SEXY haha.. and he didn't even have to take off his shirt! >.< I can't wait to grab my copy of the magazine! I'm too eager to know more about Jake at this point. I would love to meet him in person too one day... soon I hope! >.<

Thank you for the inspiration, Jake & Maine! Here's my fifth poem, and it's another collaboration with @JaMaine_FanArt for the lovely background. I feel like my simple poems are somehow transformed into these great ones with her artistic designs. He he he.. >.<

[Jake Ejercito] Guardian of Maine 'Yaya Dub' Mendoza's Heart?

I intentionally postponed blogging about this so that it won't be misconstrued as part of an election campaign. The last thing Team JaMaine Universe OFC wants is to mix showbiz and politics together. Let's face it, Jake Ejercito comes from a political clan, so like it or not, he's going to campaign for his dad. On the other hand, he can now be considered a TV personality too, having appeared on Eat Bulaga a few times as Jake, Yaya Dub's classmate. He also appeared on EB Lenten Special "God Gave Me You," as Capt. Matthew Montecillo. Thus, JaMaine (Jake + Maine) Universe OFC was born. >.<

We keep it REEL on this team, but all in the spirit of fun, I'd like to share this short video clip taken at least a month back. Jake cracked a joke that he's running to be a guardian of Yaya Dub's heart. He he he... Yaya Dub is Maine Mendoza's character on EB Kalyeserye. Did anyone tease Jake that jokes are sometimes half-meant truths? Yikee! >.<

This video actually made our JaMaine hearts flutter, but hey, we still KEEP IT REEL! >.< Since we're a bunch of happy folks... that we fondly call Martians... we'd like to roll out this warrant for Jake. In a way, it's a challenge for him to carry out his self-appointed task! What do you say, Jake? >.<

[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Thanks Maine Mendoza for Inspiration

I've been watching Maine Mendoza's live chat on Eat Bulaga FB page for the last three days. I'd say I see a sensible young lady. She's smart and articulate and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Wow! Such admirable traits for such a young person. It's no wonder that she has attracted a lot of fans and followers. 

For my part, I got inspired by one of her videos wherein she was giving an advice to someone who wants to move on. Yup! It may be from her own experience or perhaps just a deeper knowing that comes with her persona. She really talks sense though. So I came up with the above poem. 

Some may like it. Others may not. But I certainly am not going to apologize for writing it. It is my creative work after all. Ha-ha!

Anyway, I've tweeted some suggestions to further improve Maine's new segment. I sure hope creative staff read and acknowledge inputs from fans. We are simply helping them by giving feedback on what we find as entertaining.

[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Writes More Poems Inspired by JaMaine

Huge thanks to @JaMaine_FanArt for providing the very nice backgrounds for my two other poems inspired by JaMaine. The above poem is an overview of how it all started, at least from my vantage point. He-he! 

Did you know I had to watch Jake's first appearance on the KS once again just to experience how it felt like that first time around? So funny, but the REAL kilig was there all along... from that very first moment! It remains to this day... oh my JaMaine heart! 

We pray for another JaMaine project. And yes, we're waiting... all in good time! We're enjoying ourselves over at JaMaine_Universe. It totally feels like an alternate universe where fangirling is totally fun and free of stress. He-he! It's exactly how we like it. Sometimes, I personally do not understand why folks can't respect others. We naturally are different from one another, so we have different tastes and preferences. Contrary to what others believe, we can all co-exist peacefully in parallel universes. After all, parallel lines don't meet. You support what you love, I support what I love. Let's stay on our lanes and not cross paths. 

May the above poem remind us all to focus on supporting what we love. After all, we all just want to be entertained. My entertainment, my choice!

[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Sends Wally Bayola Birthday Greetings!

In as much as I wanted to personally hand over these birthday gifts that fellow JaMainers wanted to send to Wally, I also needed to juggle my time between my personal obligations and my duties to the team. One win-win solution I thought of was to opt for online ordering and delivery. That way we get to hit two birds with one stone. 

Mila's Lechon has a website and they do deliveries for an extra charge. You can call the landline for inquiries, which is indicated on the site. The best part is you can settle the payment through bank deposit. Above photo has been cropped for obvious reasons. 

Although I personally brought the cake to Broadway Centrum last Saturday, April 30th, this time around I'm pressed for time, as I have a prior commitment -- yes, I am human and I have a life outside fangirling! Another win-win solution was to use the online ordering for Red Ribbon Bakeshop. Mind you, I did have to call both Mila's and Red Ribbon a few times to verify and ensure that I am going through the correct process of ordering. 

I tried calling the Eat Bulaga hotline indicated on their FB page, but the number was not accessible even after a few tries. That was the afternoon wherein there was an issue with RR's tactless broadcast on national TV. They must have unplugged the phones. So I opted to send an email to EB to advice them ahead of time to expect said deliveries from JaMaine Universe OFC. Unfortunately, I got no reply or acknowledgment.

Since both companies are rather well-known, I trust that they have made the deliveries. However, I have yet to call EB hotline again later to find out. But as per Mila's Lechon, the delivery was personally received by Ms. Hyacinth Uri. 

Anyway, we hope that Wally had a happy birthday celebration. We also hope that he received the "gifts" from Team JaMaine Universe OFC.

PS. I called up EB hotline and got confirmation from the information guard that deliveries were received and were sent to the barangay on the same day! >.< Honestly, next time around, I will do my best to be physically present so we could make documentations and take photos of the purchases!

[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Collaborates with JaMaine_FanArt: A Poem for JaMaine

There I was one day sharing to my fellow JaMainers how I slowly woke up to the realization that what I thought was "magic" was merely an ILLUSION. Tragic! As I was sharing my awakening poem.. one I composed per line on twitter as I went along, Renee suggested to write a poem for JaMaine (Jake + Maine). Funny, I've never really tried doing one for any other LTs that I shipped in the past. 

Since the request was made, and I was feeling inspired by all the JaMaine artists, I thought I'd give it a try. He-He! I'm surely no expert, and yes, it took more than one sitting to start up, but once I got started, it just kept coming. 

Would you believe I wrote this while hanging out at the mall? Yeah... 

One look... one smile

That's all it took,

Ah yes, it's been a while.

A girl with a mission

to fulfill her dreams;

A guy with a vision,

or so it seems...

They have so much in common,
