[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Releases JaMaine Poems & FanArts Photobook

This blog is truly in need of some updates! LOL >.< So there, after waiting a few weeks for my orders, the JaMaine Poems & FanArts photobooks are finally here! >.< It took a few months to complete a single 60-page book. I'd say if there's one good thing that this fangirling over JaMaine brought to me, it is this photobook. It is indeed a worthy memorabilia of all the brouhaha.

I came across Fotograbooks on Instagram on one of my browsing moments. I thought they look good. I did do a few canvassing at other places, but so far found them to offer the best deal for me. >.<

Nice! My title fits on the side print. Tee hee hee... That's minor, but pretty major for me. Ha ha ha! >.<

On my previous post, I shared the different cover photos considered. This was my choice for the cover. I thought it looked good -- the heart-shaped frame did it for me. >.<

Very limited edition too... as a gift for myself and for JaMainer friends. Isn't that too cool? I think it is. This isn't a for-profit venture, so if you'd like a copy, I'd be happy to share with you the link to the pages featured. You'll have to do the printing yourself. Fair enough deal, right? >.<

Overall, I'm totally elated that I got to complete this project! It's truly one for the books! Pun intended, of course. Ha ha ha!

Good vibes all the way!

[Maine Mendoza] Celebrated First Showbiz Anniversary

First and foremost, congratulations Maine Mendoza on your first showbiz anniversary! You have indeed come this far! Even I didn't know I would be such a big fan. >.< Back then I just got curious to see Yaya Dub trending and hearing folks talk about her Dubsmash videos. Geez, I didn't even like the app! Ha ha ha... it was such a craze I was freaking out! >.< Fast forward to the day I discovered the KS... I was admittedly a fan of Lola Nidora's W.O.W. (words of wisdom) initially... then everything became crazy... then FF some more, here I am fangirling over Jake & Maine & JaMaine "heart heart heart" >.<

The JaMaine Council of Elders thought of an idea a few days before last Saturday to send Maine an advance anniversary greeting with a custom-made cake of the group's logo. Wow! I knew that such cakes take time to make, but I didn't want to shoot down the idea without trying my best to do something about it first. There I was checking out a neighborhood cafe that I've chanced upon on one of my strolls. Luckily, they said it was possible to make the cake even on such short notice! >.<

Nicely done, don't you think? And wow, it was four inches thick too! LOL! >.< I hope it was really yummy... wish Maine would let us know... ha ha ha! #wishfulthinking

Another trip to BW - EB to bring the cake. I'm getting the hang of being the cake delivery girl! LOL! Luckily, ours was not the only cake around... right next to it was another one from a Maine fan group. I stayed till our cake was brought into the studio and took photos. Then headed home to face the heavy traffic. >.<

Stay tuned for more updates... Good vibes all the way!

[Jake Ejercito] Featured on Escape

Truly enjoyed reading this online interview article featuring Jake Ejercito. In a way, I kinda wish that Maine Mendoza would also get a similar solo feature! >.<

Yeah, must be good but tough to be Jake Ejercito, huh? After all, he does carry the Ejercito name, and I'm sure lots of folks have a thing or two to say about the clan. Some even claim that Jake is a chick boy. Is he? Only he can answer that for sure... >.<

Love his idea of perfect happiness. Guess it's not that different from everyone else's idea huh? 'Reasonably confident girl' -- wonder if he already has someone in mind when he gave that answer huh? >.<

I have to admit that I still need to explore his blog. He he he! It's interesting though that he shares about his many travels everywhere. Guess he'll need a travel partner eventually. >.<

I love his advice for travelers. My daughter and I have only recently started out of town travels ourselves. It would be good to keep his advice in mind. Oh, and yes, we loved Jake Ejercito more since his appearance as Maine Mendoza's classmate on EB. But I like his take on social media not about being just a numbers game. But if you have lots of followers, you better be sure you are inspiring them too! >.<

Ha ha his 5-year plan is amusing, esp. the part on making little Jakes and Jakettes. I hope he finds the right woman to share his life and dreams with. Awww, and it makes us quite sad that he'd rather stick to business than try his hand with showbiz. Oh well, Maine is pretty versatile, perhaps Jake & Maine can have a travel or lifestyle show together... you never know! #wishfulthinking #dreamcometrue

Though I love Jake's idea of an OOTD, I'm kinda concerned on his pick of poison. I hope he's just a social drinker. Not much fun getting drunk really. >.<

I wonder if Jake meant too much foundation on the male vanity query. LOL! >.< Hmm, I thought he didn't like singing so I do wonder on the karaoke session. Tee hee hee... But I do love it that he prefers the beach. Hmmm, I think I know another person who also prefers the beach... perhaps they can be beach buddies... hahaha >.<

Ooh, I would love to see the Machu Picchu as well. It's on my bucket list. And I do appreciate his travel advice. >.<

I hope Jake develops patience. But what caught my attention was how he described himself. Ha ha! He loves annoying or making fun of his friends... hmm, it really reminds me of another person... she sounds so much like him! Ha ha ha! Seriously, Jake? Are you two talking? LOL! >.<

#EasyDoesIt --> love his hashtag... but then again, he's one lucky guy! Born to a good life. What more could he ask for huh? >.<

Inside Ellie's laugh... awww, perhaps Jake will make a great dad too one day! >.<

I really enjoyed reading and commenting to the above interview article. Perhaps Jake will have another magazine feature again... how I wish Jake & Maine can work together, even on a TVC or a clothing brand. >.<

Good vibes all the way!

[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Will Release JaMaine Poems & Fanarts Collector's Edition Photobook

Cover option #1

In collaboration with @JaMaine_FanArt, we are putting together a collection of JaMaine Poems & Fanarts -- Collector's Edition -- in a 60-page photobook that we will be publishing soon. All the poems are originally written by yours truly and inspired by Jake & Maine (JaMaine). Designs by JaMaine_FanArt.

Cover option #2
Right now, we're choosing from a selection of five cover photos. All designs were made by JaMaine_FanArt. Much as all the cover photos are lovely, I will need to choose but one.

Cover option #3

There will only be a limited number of copies available -- probably six -- so if you're interested in having a copy, please get in touch with @JaMaine_UnivOFC on Twitter and reserve your copy.

Cover option #4

Writing poetry is something I have done in the past but have forgotten in the course of time. Life gets in the way... till the JaMaine Universe OFC group happened. JaMaine somehow inspired me to try my hand in writing poetry once again. And here I've been used to blogging more...

Cover option #5

Incidentally, Maine already has a rough copy of the first six poems I've written. I printed them out and posted them on a mini scrapbook that I was able to hand over to her. >.< I sure hope she enjoyed them! Some of the poems are also posted on this blog. Feel free to look around and visit past posts.

I will definitely keep you posted on the progress of this memorable collector's edition photobook. It will be a fulfillment of my dream to get published... even if I had to do it myself! Ha ha ha...

Good vibes all the way!

[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Sends Second Donation to Eat Bulaga 'Isang Lapis, Isang Papel' Project

More members got inspired to contribute for Eat Bulaga's "Isang Lapis, Isang Papel" Project, so I worked on purchasing and packing additional school supplies. The second batch of donations was made on behalf of JaMaine_UniverseOFC -- Pampanga Chapter & KSA Chapter. Thank you to all who sent in their support.

The box of donations landed on Broadway Centrum on Monday, 30th May 2016. It was nearing the start of the show then. I even got to see Bossing and Pauleen as they were alighting from their van at the back entrance to the studio. >.<

Several members were waiting and watching EB to see if our donation would be acknowledged once again. It was actually a surprise by one member to another -- they're both from overseas (Team Abroad). However, a week has passed and yet not one mention of it. >.<

To set the records straight, we're NOT after the fame nor even recognition for Team JaMaine_UniverseOFC. After all, the donations are for children in need. But I did get disappointed by the snubbing and apparent lack of acknowledgment from EB about our donation. I felt bad for the member who went out of her way to surprise another member. I wish I could do something more than call the attention of EB about the matter. Oh well... I suppose next time we know better. Perhaps it's EB's message that other fan groups are not welcome, if it threatens to displease their favored fan groups. Lesson learned... there are many other worthy causes that are worth supporting. >.< And life goes on...

Good vibes all the way!

[JaMaine_UniverseOFC] Sees Jake Ejercito in Person for the First Time

So Jake Ejercito tweeted and added a photo on his IG -- he later on deleted it -- that he would be attending a premiere night at the SM Manila Cinema 6. Wow! Something in my mind clicked.. I had to make a decision whether to go and risk a chance of seeing Jake in person or not. Well, SM Manila isn't that far away from me. It's just a few minutes ride. So I adjusted my schedule to fit it in. >.<

It was, admittedly, my first time to even attempt to wait and see what a premiere night looks like. I'm not really fond of huge crowds, but I really wanted to see... and meet... Jake Ejercito in person. I even brought the JaMaine Universe OFC tarp. >.<

As it turned out, security was pretty tight, esp. where Jake and his sister are concerned. I certainly didn't want to breach security just to catch his attention. Perhaps there will be a better time to meet him and have the tarp signed. >.< #dreamcometrue

Jake, Jake, Jake! How I wish I met you up close or even got a chance to take a selfie with you last night. Oh well, it's not the right time I suppose. Hopefully, you can surprise us when we finally get to set a get-together. He He He! >.<

Good vibes all the way!

[JaMaine_UnivOFC] Supports Eat Bulaga's "Isang Lapis, Isang Papel" Project

On behalf of Team JaMaine Universe OFC, thank you Eat Bulaga, for the acknowledgment of our contribution to your "Isang Lapis, Isang Papel" Project. More than just being a fan group, we'd also like to make a difference in others' lives. We're not here to be well-known.. that's for our favorites, Jake Ejercito and Maine Mendoza, as they are the celebrities. We're here to help in whatever way we can, because WE CAN. >.<

Wow, the final output looks so nice. But a lot of work went into the purchasing of  the supplies, the preparation and packing... all the way to the delivery of the boxes to Broadway Centrum. Yup, it was no easy task. Yet it was done because we believe in the project and we made it happen. >.<

I took the above photos while I was there to deliver the goods to EB Studio at Broadway Centrum.

If you think life is easy, think again. I bought all the supplies separately from a wholesale store. Buying in bulk is a good way to ensure you get items cheaper. Prior to the purchase, I did a canvas of places where to buy. I found one a few blocks away from home. Good thing too, as they have a delivery guy who helped me bring the stuff to my place. >.<

Getting right down to business once the supplies have been brought home. I set up an area where I could work without being interrupted. Did a few samples first to send to our Council of Elders for approval then went right down to packing all the supplies one by one. Yup, all the packing was manually done... with love and blessings added to each pack. >.< JaMaine Universe OFC stickers were pre-printed and cut a few days prior to this packing day so they were ready to be added to each packed set.

I had to purchase boxes for our packed sets -- all 100 of them. Two boxes in total -- 50 packed sets went into each box. I loved it that the boxes looked so nice. For me, it spelled good vibes. He he he...

Labels were attached inside and outside the boxes. We want to make sure that they really look nice and presentable, as they are gifts for children in need. >.< It was a tiring yet fulfilling experience, as it was also my first time to do such a deed. I hope it won't be the last worthy cause that Team JaMaine Universe OFC will be supporting. Till next project!

Good vibes all the way!
